FastBizCard is a multi-language business card reader coupled with contacts management function. It originally came out on Jan.7, 2011 and its first VerUP has become available on Feb.10.

Major changes made are
1) Registered business card data can be sorted in the order of Company name/Personal name/Registered date.
2) Deleting building names when looking up Map so that no miss match occurs
3) Freight tracking by entering tracking number from ActiveNote function in FastBizCard

Also, to make operation more convenient, one or more procedure has been automated between taking photo of a card and recognition of characters.

Its highly accurate recognition engine is made by OMRON Co.,Ltd., the renowned one adopted by many mobile phone manufacturers.

It is not only available for English and Japanese recognition, but Simplified Chinese to handle ever accelerating business relationship with Mainland China. More languages are to be added in the nearest future.

Unlike other competing apps, FastBizCard provides character correction area that is more nice and visible that it is much easier to compare a recognition result with original card image.

Registered data is synchronized with iPhone’s default contact so it is a hassle-free when taking backups via iTunes.

One notable feature of FastBizCard is “ActiveNote” which allows user to input some words first then decide which action to take such as looking up things on Wikipedia, finding a place on Map, searching for and buying items on Amazon, not to mention making phone calls, sending emails and SMS/MMS.

It has evolved that of iPhone by co-listing company name along with person’s name so that users will instantly know which company he/she belongs to.
